What about access to drinking water ? I am watering 3 times a day, and things are still freezing up. With the sort of weather we are having either a heated waterer or multiple waterings are necessary.

Just to be safe you might want to switch them to an all flock feed and provide oyster shell on the side.

Ok I was planning on changing there feed so I will. Where would I get oyster shells. Where I live its going to be hard to find them since they recycle them.

In order to eat mash or dry feed in sufficient quantities to maintain weight and temperature control, they need near constant access to water. My guess is that your ducks are dying of water deprivation.
