Ducks Dying On Me...

While cleaning there cage I realized they have gotten thinner even tough they eat and drink the same amount as before.

Maybe from here on I would recommend you keeping the food and water outside the coop to lessen the chance of mold and encourage you keep the water refilled at all times and then see how they do?

How do they get in? Looks like the bale of straw is blocking the opening? An if the water is inside, there is a very good chance that mold is too.
The bale of hay is next to the opening to prevent more wind from being in there. They can get in fine should I move the water and food to the outside area.

If you have moldy straw that could be the culprit, Aspergelosis [sp] pneumonia can be caused by ammonia build up inside their sleeping quarters. Of course these are all guesses.

Losing weight can be caused by internal parasites. And other reason @casportpony would be a good one to rec. ideas

Move the food and water out of the house portion and into the run. It makes too much of a mess to be kept in the sleeping quarters. In cold weather, it is very important that you keep their sleeping area clean and DRY. And they should never be without water. They need water to swallow their feed. They can't eat enough if they run out of water.

Ok thanks everyone I moved the food and water to the outside area and now they have a clean cage and dry inside. I will see how they do now and I will probably get another water dish so they have more water. Im also changing there food and going to try to get muscle shells.
