I got my order in today and there was one duck "sleeping". It was still breathing but I could tell that it would not live long. Then that one died and then another and another and now one is "sleeping" again I'm afraid it will die. I've already called the hatchery and they told me to call back on monday and give them the total amount that died. So that they can reship my lost fowl. WHen they died the would just look tired and fall asleep when standing up, it only killed the ducks so far. If anyone knows what happened please tell me>

I'm sorry to hear that.

If you got your ducklings through mail then they are probably dying from shipping sickness. The stress, cold or extra warm weather, and constant movement can lead to infections in young birds. They could also be suffering from a parasite. Are you feeding them medicated food (this is bad for ducklings)?

Make sure they are hydrated, getting food and/or electrolytes, and are warm and resting.

Best of luck!

Thank you and no I am not. We havent had any more die. So hopefully
