ducks egg looks like it has started to hatch but i cant hear anything

i have a very large muscovy duck egg that my female duck has been sitting on an it has a few cracks in it today i put it up to my ear but i cant hear any pipping or banging inside it the other eggs which are normal sized aren't cracked or anything i was starting to think they had died my other females eggs hatched a few days ago and when the first one of them was cracked i put it up to my ear and i could hear the baby inside i could also see its beak trying to get through the hole but with the big egg i cant hear or see anything and i am starting to get worried and i was wondering if it wasn't ready to hatch yet and my duck accidentally put the holes in the egg will it die? and is it possible for 2 ducklings to be in one egg? it is a lot bigger and heavier than all the other eggs

Do you know how long your duck has been sitting on the egg? Muscovy eggs take 32-35 days to hatch, so if this egg is younger than that, it probably isn't ready to hatch. At least judging by the photo, the cracks in it look more like external pecking/scratching marks to pipping by the duckling.

If you want to try and figure out if the egg is alive, take it into a dark room and shine a bright light into it (this is called candling). If its close to hatching and/or alive, you should see some movement and blood vessels, and the egg should be mostly dark inside. But even if you don't see any of those signs (provided the egg isn't clear--that would mean it wasn't even fertile), don't give up on it yet. Let the duck sit on it for a while longer; it may very well hatch even if its shell was damaged.

i'm not sure when she started sitting on them i'm pretty sure it was only a few days after my other female and hers all hatched last month i candled it and i saw blood vessels but no movement i candled a couple more of the eggs and no movement in those either =( mostly dark inside the eggs and there is definitely air pockets in them though so i'm going to leave them i think there may have been a tiny hole in the inner shell membrane of the large egg and a tiny bit of yolk came out after i took the photo so maybe it will die or already has died it really sucks because all my other females eggs turned out so good
