Duck's eye is closed

I have two duck's that their eye is closed on one side and the other side is starting to close up too. what is this??? and how can I get rid of it??

the eye lid just looks like it got smaller and it looks a little dry.

im having the same problem with a snowy call duckling, on one side his eye is all crusted over and closed, and i keep having to wet it with my fingertips to get some poisture then he opens it. after giving him a bath he is alright for alittle while then it goes crusted again. i need to know what this is too

It could be one of two things-an actual eye infection which will probably require some antibiotic cream made specifically for opthalmic use or it could be a sinus/respiratory infection which will require antibiotics(water soluble antibiotics).
