Ducks face hair falling off?

i have a 1 year old Muscovy cross Indian runner duck and it seems that his hair on his face is falling off? It’s happening on both sides and I’m not going to lie it is pretty concerning. I hope it is nothing

Sounds like he's maybe just in a moult? Pics would help us to see exactly what is going on, though.
