Ducks fighting

Can some help me I hav 5 ducks 1 male 4 female 4 5yrs now. now 1 of my older females is beating up 1 of the younger 1s (which is her daughter )then the male goes and beats up the older female 2 were he makes her bleed.I'm at loss here after all this time now they r fighting.

We cannot understand all of the dynamics of a flock.

When I need to intervene, I separate flock members. Sometimes all it takes is some days or a few weeks of being in different pens to settle things down.

We had a new trio join the flock and for weeks it was fine. Then the drake started picking on one female, and half a dozen other ducks jumped on him (while he was on top of her) , and now the trio is one flock, everyone else is another. I have been able to reintegrate them for a few months at a time, but then something will happen and I need to separate them again.

Hi. Newbie here. Glad to find this forum. I feel like I'm working on a PhD in duck psych trying to figure out what goes on in my ducks' cute little heads.The drake likes two females, drives the third female away.She hangs out alone or with the geese. Geese protect her from the drake too. Question is, will this drake calm down with age? Everyone is 7 months old. Everyone is free range, plenty of room, water, etc. I really would like one big happy family again. Love them all. Will post pics when I figure out the site.
