2 is already pushing it my husband dosent like how many birds I already have...but mabey I'll have to see how many birds I have when I go to get ducks...

plus it really depends on the individual drake. I know one person who had one female and one male and they did fine...ill have to just play it by ear

Maybe you could try asking around your local feed store? Go to a local flock swap, Or by going to a near by action? You could also try posting a thread on Byc looking for some female ducks.. Sorry if i'm not being helpful, But i'm just suggesting everything I would do.. And for the hen to drake ratio I would get as many hens you're willing to get for your drake.

I've looked for months...none on Craigslist...none. no flock swaps around me...considering doing eggs but I dunno. I probuly won't find any of those either. ill see if TSC even gets ducks this year last time they only had um for a weel or so

they dont let people hanfle them...last year I wanted ducks but couldn't get any so I wanted to hold the babies so I could get my duck fix and they said no it's against the rules...

Tractor Supply Co. has signs posted saying that you cannot touch the chicks or ducklings. Only staff members are allowed to handle them.
