Ducks gender?

I will snatch one up tomorrow and see what 'it' does. I'll be rather happy if they both are girls as i have no desire to have any drakes.

They do both sound exactly the same as of now, but they are only 2.5 months old.

If they both sound like the duck in the video they are female.

These are Pekins and they sound different..A real a Quack is needed....

My Pekins sound just like my Rouens, Runners, and the wild Mallards that visit.

Hi! I'm really new to chickens and ducks. I bought a pair of ducks at rural king because they were on sale because they were bigger, I know they're at least a month old because I've had them for that long. Can anyone tell an approximate age and tell what gender/type they are? I'm pretty sure one is a Peking, I'm thinking the other is a mallard. Thanks for any help and advice! I really love all my birds so I want to take the best care of them as I possibly can.

Welcome to BYC! Looks like a Pekin and a Rouen... The dark one looks too big to be a Mallard, plus most feed stores don't sell Mallards. They are very cute!

No need to pick them up, that quack was the quack of a hen. Do you have speakers on your computer?

I do. I heard it. Definitely at least one female. I actually thought i heard quacks from both, but can't be certain about that.
