Ducks hatching

Hi, my ducklings are currently hatching (first ever hatch). I can hear them chirping and can see plenty of movement. This duck has been in this position for a few hours now and despite lots of movement has made little / no progress. Can anyone let me know if everything looks normal? Thanks!

Congratulations!!!!! I’m not an expert in ducks, but from what I have experienced, you have so far a completely normal hatching session! Some eggs can take a long time to make any progress.

Thank you! The membrane looks dry but if I’m honest I’m not 100% sure what I’m looking for

Generally it's over 24 hours from the first pip. So keep waiting.
