Ducks laying and breeding age???

Does anyone that has or had Rouen ducks know if a female that was born April of this year lay any eggs this year or will it be next year???

About five to six months old, so you might get a few eggs this fall.

I was wondering if I would get any eggs this year? I hope I do.

They should lay come October. But to get them to lay through winter would take a careful coop lighting schedule. I did it one year, and without fail every chicken and duck was laying everyday.

I didn't get eggs the first summer I had rouens but the next summer the female laid 23 eggs, hatched 21.
