Could someone please help me!?!

I have 2 ducks.. a 4 week old mallard and an about 5 werk old Cayuga. I went camping this last weekend and when I got back my Cayuga Murray was not using his left leg at all! He cannot stand or bear any weight on the leg and falls over. I see no visible sores or swollenness. When I move it it doesnt seem to hurt him. His poops were almost neon green.. I suspected infection? My mallard Herbie had worms from the get go so I have been feeding them bith wazine for weeks now to get rid of the worms. I want to take him to the vet but cannot afford the minimum of a $150 bill right now!. I have been putting him in a warm bath a few times a day as keeping their cage extremely clean. I thought I was going to lose him last night but after much prayer, he started to eat and drink again. He now seems more like himself but the leg is not working at all. His wing does though. I read that garlic and organo are natural antibiotics, so have been putting that in their water once a day..
Does anyone have any advice for me? It's ripping me apart seeing him like this:( Will he make it? Will he regain the ability to walk?
Any help would be extremely appreciated!
Thank you
Elaine

Can you get nutritional or brewers yeast? If not can you get plain niacin? (NOT flush free and NOT time release)
Sounds like it could be a vitamin deficiency.

I would stop with the garlic as too much can be bad for them.
Have you finished the waking treatment? You want to follow the directions and not over do it (maybe I'm reading it wrong but seems like it's an ongoing thing for a long period of time?)

What feed are you using for them?

Yes I have some nutritional yeast. How much do I give them? I feed them Purina Flock Raiser Crumbles with water on it to make it soft. I also usually give them a shredded apple or some kind of fruit, every day. I took away their garlic/oregano water.

I stopped the wazine when I came home and found them this way on Monday. They had just completed 3 1/2 weeks of having 30ml of the wazine in a galon of water. Herbie was pooping out roundworms for a long time and about a week and a half ago he pooped out a tape worm!
I found Herbie probably the day after he was hatched running down the road and nearly hit him. No one would take him so I did. I was told they do best in 2's so I got him Muray from Wilco the next day. Anyways. I never visibly saw any worms come out of Murray, but yes I have been treating them both with the wazine.
They both have always seemed very healthy.. this has totally shocked me!

Can you describe the tape worms and round worms?
Waite only does round worms, so if he has tapeworms, you'll need to get some valbazen not sure where you would fine it. Hopefully someone else knows and can direct you.

I would not just wet their food, this can cause bacteria, molds and botulism to culture after only being left out for 4 hours.

If you prefer a wet food, you can ferment your feed to help preserve it as well as exponentially increasing the benefits of the food you are feeding.

Have you looked up symptoms of botulism?
I wouldn't suspect niacin deficiency using flock raiser, but just to be on the safe side, you can sprinkle a little bit (not an exact science) on their food once a day (nutritional yeast) and you can use less of the nutritional yeast than you would of brewers yeast.

Ok, I will stop wetting their food. I gave them some organic scrambled eggs with some nutritional yeast sprinkled on top. I also added a few drops of raw apple cidar vinegar to their water. He seems more alert and like himself, but his leg is still paralyzed:( I am also keeping their cage very dry and clean.. will he regain the use of his leg?

The roundworms were long and round.. transparent at the end. The tape worm was long and flat. I assumed that Herbie was getting rid of the tape worm beings a whole one came out. I just took that as the wormer medicine was working.

I've never heard of worming with wazine for that long a period of time. they need some kind of pro biotic to get their gut flora back up to speed. feed stores carry probiotics for flock animals,TSC being one of them. .
