Ducks like neighbor's pond

My ducks keep making their way over to the neighbor's to enjoy his pond. He is not too happy with me, because his pump keeps getting clogged with duck poop. My ducks stay in my yard as long as I am outside with them, but with falling temps I am spending less time outside. Aside from keeping them penned up 24/7, does anyone have any suggestions to keep my ducks from straying away to the neighbor's? Thank you in advance for your time!

Of course they do. Build a pond or a fence.

Good fences make good neighbors.

Is it possible for you to install a fence at the border between your property and your neighbor's? That's really the only thing to do. Building a pond will also help, but they may still wander into the neighbor's pond.

Could you fill a kiddie pool or two so that swimming and bathing water is closer to your house. Maybe that will keep them closer to home.
