They are doing so well outside again. Having them inside after the tree fell on them was rough on them
Rio, one of my Rouens, was especially struggling
she had lost a lot of weight and was depressed. She has a blue stripe on her wings and those feathers fell out and lost all color.
Within a few days of being outside she is eating again, and the stripe on her wings is back and they are all doing so well
and they finally started laying eggs again. Took a few days but had a couple eggs this morning
side note, we got a lot of rain which allowed me to test the drainage on the new design. Have to build up a mound around one of the support beams where water collected but otherwise the drainage was good
