Ducks making the coop a wet mess..

I had the same problem with my call ducks.my solution was to build a square box out of 1x4 lumber.then i covered it with 1/2 wire mesh.i built it 3 x3 feet and i set the waterer in the center.i also have a cone cover over the waterer.it does get wet but very seldom does the water come outside from under the box.

Thanks and I am just glad I could help, I struggled too long with having wet shavings in the coop and if I can save someone the hassle it is worth it. If it wasn't for this system I would not have ducks. I never thought an animal could make so much of a mess and be so cute at the same time, I guess that is the dichotomy of the duck.
