Have two fruit trees in my duck run. One provides significantly more shade than the other. It is warm and sunny and ducks are wanting shade. They are all piled up (almost literally) under the tree with the lesser amount of shade...when a mere 10 feet away there is three times as much shade available....but we want to lay HERE. Go figure!

My ducks get mad when I give them food they don't like. They CHARGE at me, throwing their bodies at me. What the heck is up with that? Do they think they are endearing themselves to me and thusly changing my mind, intimidating me into giving them something better? LOL Sometimes I say outloud, "Your dumb, even for a duck."

Maybe not so dumb; maybe they found the *right* spot ... like Goldilocks porridge? Not too hot, not too cold, but juuuuuust right
