Here's two. One was at bedtime and the other is how my son has to do homework because apparently duck hugs are needed at that exact moment.

Hi I have used artificial grass leaving about a foot around the edge for natural grass and mud to grow through. It got too muddy on there!!! They also have a bark / mud area with a big puddle tray. The artificial grass they love as it is the soft type , it can be hosed down and then I spray with disinfectant . I throw in some long grass and dandelions everyday, and peas and calci worms in their pool area.

If you can afford it ! It works great - get the soft type leaving about a foot all around the edge for natural grass and mud to come through! We have not used it in the whole enclosure as bark and mud are used in a 1/4 of it too! Great for going down / jet wash and spray with disinfectant!
My ducks LOVE IT !
