I can tell your very anxious for your duck to lay an egg, is there a reason why?

We have 4 chickens and 1 duck we get roughly 1-2 eggs a day and I want to change that as if our duck doesn't lay soon we may have to get rid of her and her partner as they are messy so I'm determined to make her lay so I can keep her.
