Duck's toes are pointing downward?

I have a female Black Sweetish duck who is about to turn a year old November 6th. Over the past few weeks her most outward toes on either foot seem to point downward whenever she is not on a solid surface. I first noticed it when she was standing on my lap and was poking me more than usual. However; when she stands on the ground they straighten out. I am afraid she is lacking something in her diet. I feed her Purina Layeena mixed with 3 grain scratch and she gets veggies almost every day. I used to feed her oyster shells too, but she stopped eating them after a while. Any advice would help! Thank you!

Just a guess, niacin and thiamine seem to have something to do with leg health.

Good for you to try to catch it early.

I have an appointment with our vet on Friday. Hopefully they will have some more insight about niacin and thiamine.
