Hello everyone, we have 2 ducks, a pekin duck that is nearing 2 years old and a muscovy duck whom we believe is now a couple months old. We got the muscovy duckling to accompany our Pekin who is called Lulu (we thought she was female as a baby but now quacks like a male and has a drake feather in its back so we now believe he/she is male) but Lulu will not get along with our Muscovy whom we believe is truly female and is named Rose. Lulu chases Rose around the garden and when she catches her, Lulu uses his/her beack to grap Rose's neck and head almost trying to pin her. Recently, we've also seen Lulu tries to get on top of Rose, and is extremely agressive. This is why we do not let them be without supervision together. Has anyone had a similar problem? What could be causing the agressiveness?

can you post pictures of your muscovy? they don’t get drake curls and don’t quack like ducks so if your sexing her that way it may not be correct

If your Pekin could be trying to mate. Are you sure that the Muscovy is a she?

Lulu is trying to mate Rose. Drakes can be very aggressive while mating, and will also overmate the hens if he doesn't have enough hens. This can kill the hen. You need to separate them for Rose's safety. Drakes need a minimum of 6 hens, so you need to get more hens if you want to keep them both. You could also rehome Lulu and get Rose a hen to keep her company.

depends on the drake. i have 3 drakes and 2 hens and they are fine all together sometimes

Yes, it does depend on the drake, but OPs drake is aggressively mating the hen. He is also probably overmating her because he only has one hen. In this situation, they should be separated for the hen's safety.
i think they may have a drake because the ways they are using to sex don’t work for muscovy
