Ducks with dry skin???

My 4 pekin ducklings seem to have dry skin. Under their feathers I can see their skin looks red like they are pecking themselves. Is their skin dry? Do they need more time in water?

How old are they now?? Is it in any way possible they may have lice or parasites??? They could also be pecking each other rather than themselves - especially if they are getting bored living in a brooder.
