Ducks won’t come out of pond

I need help we’ve been trying to get my ducks out of the pond for over an hour and they won’t come out we tried shaking food and going in and trying to get them out but there is no progress they will come out a little bit then go back in and we think they are also afraid of the dark what should we do

You could try using a flashlight, shining behind them to scare them out. Or wave your arms around, behind them, that may scare them out.

you should add lights around the place and try picking the ducks up and emptying the pond just for an hour for them to dry up and get warm. if that doesn't work put their food in a container and let it float on the water and they will eat the food and slowly move the container away from them. they should follow

how big is the pond? use a really long string to scare them across it
