Ducks wrong gender?!??

Well. . my drake s are pets and so far they are not human biting monsters. Doesn't mean they won't turn out to be. . come spring they may be more aggressive. Outside of the toe incident for just a few days they haven't acted up much at all. I assume they have their hormones already as they have been breeding the females. . .
Just be firm when it starts and don't let them get away with it. Be prepared you may need a time out pen.

But that does not always mean they will turn bad???

Nope, it does not... depends on individuals, personality and how interaction works for both of you...

Can it happen? Sure... has it happened? Yup... but there has also been many success stories with drakes never going mean... personally, I have never had a drake go aggressive... and I have had many, lol...

These are just possible outcomes that i am aware of, what i am saying is that im not focusing on the negatives and the "oh what if they are bad ducks later on" because i choose to believe the best of them and im not gunna dread the days that "they change and turn bad" because it is not a 100% set in stone outcome

The ones that don't turn human aggressive are usually not treated as pets. "Pet" drakes often end up seeing their humans as part of their flock, and start to treat that way, usually with undesirable consequences for both species.
