Ducks

What can I give my ducks as a treat? I want give them bread but everyone says its bad for them is this true? Thanks

Yes, bread is not good for ducks. My ducks love lettuce. i cut it up for them, or buy the bags of already cut up salad mix. They love, Love, LOVE peas - i give them a tub of them every night with their Brewers Yeast sprinkled on top. They also get mixed veggies. They like watermelon. The love worms. i sometimes buy bulk mealworms for them and my chickens. The feed store also has freeze-dried worms that everyone seems to like. For a real treat, some little feeder fish in a pail of water is fun (not for the fish, though). If i see any snails in the front yard i bring them round back for the ducks. Um, that's all i can think of right now.
