any advice what type of duck would be good for a first timer

khaki campbells, mag pies, Swedish, cayuga or if you want an odd type duck runner ducks are fun. I stay away from pekins they get to big for me. Muscovies are pretty neat but since all my ducks run together and I hatch a lot of the eggs I don't keep muscovies

I really like my runners. They were the first I'd had since I was a teenager. My buffs are good, too. A little less active than the runners.

I think a Pekin would be a good first duck. The have great personalities and are very friendly. Also Runners are great.
