My duck, Gilberta, LOVES bath time! Sometimes she gets to swim around in a small pool outside, sometimes we fill the inside tub for her and on a lucky day, she gets to invade my shower! She absolutely loves to stand in my warm showers under the waterfall! What kind of baths do your ducks prefer!? A7D5704D-462F-4C23-8FA1-3F27B0F7B485.jpeg D591C2EC-DC8D-4156-B345-74FE1B8C0970.jpeg

Gilberta is a really special case! I wish she could share some of her trust in »humons« with my Duckies.
My ducks would probably have a heart attack would i put them under the shower! They are afraid of the garden hose: All ducks are sitting in the duck-tub mudding up the fresh water that i just filled in. I use the garden hose with a stream-nozzle to shoot some water skywards and the moment the first drops hit the ducks they run off quacking.
But when it rains cats n' dogs they stay in the pool. Just the garden hose…

Other than that, there's nothing better than diving into the muddiest mud then washing it all off in the pool (just filled with fresh water...), see Ducks love drainage ditches! Clean water? No Thank's! Water cleans the duck much better with mud and poo mixed in.

Gilberta is very special! She also enjoys a hair dryer blowout of her feathers for a quick, warm dry!

Mine loves warm water baths he gets warm and snuggly and realy likes the hair dryer

I broke through the ice in their kiddie pool this morning for mine and they've been in it for hours. It's freezing here in Georgia today! Isn't it amazing that the second a duck gets into the pool they poop and mess up the perfectly good clean water!

And get so excited about the fresh when they get their pool filled only to jump in an immediately poop.
Maybe duck-poop works similar to bubble bath? :lau
