Ducky Diapers

And depending where u live, day after it rains, worms everywhere! I'm in Maine, so after a great rain, it looks like I have a flock of robins, not ducks!!!

My ducks will actually spook a cricket or insect in the grass and chase it around! It is the funniest thing. Then they get in a tizzy and just start flapping their wings and running around in circles. I could literally watch them instead of TV!

Around BYC, that's caller DuckTV! I even watch my ducks sleeping... One of my neighbors (he helped me when my first duck got dumped in my pond) well, even he comes over just to watch them!!!

Awhh that is so sweet! I have a silly question. When are ducks "fully grown" like at what age did your ducks stop getting bigger in size? Just trying to estimate how long it will be until I can get them diapers and leases!

both mine are 17 weeks today.

Mine are about the same age as yours and I haven't seen any significant growth from mine lately. I don't know if that means anything or not. They definitely seem to have hit their peak though.
Yours, I'm guessing Pekin and what's the other?

"Show off your house ducks" was the thread I was talking about and the last couple of posts(from yesterday) are about the two people who do diapers. There's also a pic of two new ducks first day out on their harnesses.

Yes, Ollie the Pekin and Pepper the Dark Khaki Campbell. I have looked at other female Dark Khaki Campbell and they seem a lot larger than her so I am scared to get the diapers right now. My cousin has a Pekin drake and he is not all that much bigger than my Ollie. Neither one have lain and egg yet so maybe I should wait until then.

My khakis are still babies, so I don't know how big they get, and my one full blooded Pekin is a jumbo I got when she was a year, so can't help there!

Oh yes, I seen the baby Khaki's so cute! I want them to have diapers so bad but I think I should just wait.
