Ducky Eggs! (New Pictures & Questions)

My ducky eggs I ordered are developing! When I got them I almost threw them out cause they were scrambled! Ohh how glad I am that I didn't! There are 7 of them and 6 look like this except some are developing closer to the air cell.

Here's a pic of one I candled day 4...how does it look to yall?

Haha...I got excited when I was typing its actually day 5.

It looks good to me. Now put it back into the incubator and check in a week to see how it goes. No need to candle daily.

I actually have them under a broody hen. This is the first time candling since I put them under her.

What kind of torch is that? Lights up the egg perfectly. Congrats by the way hope it all goes smoothly

It's a little nine bulb light (its like a blue-ish color). Not sure of the kind, sorry. But it does work great! Thank you!

Eggs appear to be pipping eternally, I see the little beaks moving around. Ones air cell is taking up half of the egg, this isn't normal is it? Then one of the other looks like it is still kinda small, still has veins and is growing...but much slower than the others. I'm a little worried!

I never let air cell sizes concern me to much. Just sit tight and let nature take care of things. It either happens or doesn't. Remember there may be quitters in the bunch. It just happens sometimes. Enjoy every little one that comes along. They are so precious when they are born.

We have pips! I think 5 out of six are going to hatch...but I can't be 100% sure! YAYY!!!
