:)Question...When I stop the bator from turning the eggs, do I take them out of the tray and just lay the eggs down in the bator, wait for them to hatch???

I mean wont they get trapped or stuck in the shelves in there? Tomm. is the day Im suppose to stop them from turning and they are due to hatch Aug. 7th...

UPDATE: today Aug 4th, stopped the turner, and took them out of the tray...laid eggs on side....HUMIDTY what level now, I did put water in the trays alittle and I added a moist towel...how moist do I make it....wring it tight and get all the water out, or alittle and leave it with some water in it????

what level should my humidity be at now???? NERVOUS...

Yes take them out of the turner and lay the eggs in the bottom of the bator. Raise the humidity close the lid and leave it closed. Good luck!

I did was Julie08 said. Took the eggs out of the turner and put them in a bowl with a towel in it. Removed the egg turner then put the eggs back into the bator one by one laying on their sides.

Good luck!!!

somebody remembered!!! yes it did, was my bday and got a shipment of broken eggs, smashed flat...then I couldnt fix the humidity problem for some time...now Im at turning off the turner...and hatchings due aug 7th...so fingers crossed...in the mean time we are getting prepared, honey is off and we are expanding our coops for a later time when they are ready to be put in....

This is what we got done today so far, will be finished today...just a small coop to seperate the Roos from the Main coop, then we're gonna make another coop to the right of this also

this is the back end of our main coop we are using left over hurricane fencing from Ike
ok, we didnt buy much, but we got the Mini coop done....

wouldnt you know it, was gonna put all my Roos in there the RIRs...and I put 2 in and was gonna put the other 2....got one, and put him in and the first 2 started fighting heavy with him, needless to say, WE CANT put the other 2 RIRs in there! So we ony have 2 in the new mini coop...and now we have 2 others in large dog kennels each. OMG...all that work.

We are remodeling our house right now and I am counting on a bunch of scrap lumber to expand my chicken facilities

I have 32 eggs due over the next several days myself. I unplugged the turner and took the eggs out this morning. Need to go check on the humidity.
