Hey there. Just wanted to share that I have 6 eggs under my Sillkie Mama due to hatch Friiday! There is 1 brown egg, 2 green and 3 small white bantams. Mamas could really be just about anyone. Possible banties are OEGB, dutch, Silkie or cochin, Greens are all EEs, and no idea about the brown. I'm confident that alll but the brown wiill hatch, as I have a D'Uccle roo and I've hatched green and banty eggs from him, tho I again, don't know about who the banty eggs are from.
I can't tell.if ANY are even viable, but I guess I will know soon enough! The suspense is KILLING me.
The last batch was hatched by my Austrolorpe, and she must be SUPER warm, cuz the eggs hatched early. I don't think Mama Silkie is so warm, and I haven't heard any peeps yet.....
