Anyone that says chickens are dumb has never tried to catch one!!!!

Too true. I once tried to catch one of my girls.....a wasp got in between me and her and stung my hand.
They have backup.

Im treating my entire flock for mites ( 20+ chickens). They have a 400 square foot yard that we had to chase all of them around in. I earned my dessert tonight lol

I made the mistake of getting multiples of the same breed. My sexlinks all look the same. You dont want to know how many times I caught one only to realize I caught that same one 4 times

We had a visitor that brought his son to our chicken coop. His son was chasing the chickens for half an hour and still didn't catch a chicken.

Half my hens can be caught by just reaching out. They instantly squat and then are easy pickins'.

The others, I pull a Pepe Le Pew... I just casually walk behind them while they do laps around obstacles in the run (the downside of having a good set of obstacles is they work on silly humans too!) and when they finally make a wrong turn into a corner, I nab them.

That's what I do but he didn't know how to catch chickens. It's pretty easy to catch one if you know-how.

We have several that are the same. We caught the same barred rock about 5 times last week lollwe have doubles of most of our birds but they all have subtle differences so I know who is who. My husband on the other hand....not so much

My production blues all are a little different. My sexlinks all identical. I cant tell them apart
