Hey, this is a stupid question but I'm quite dumb over this. Approximately 6 weeks ago I found a brown egg in the run, oh, one here, there, quite unusual after 3 years. Then a couple weeks ago I found a leather egg, and the same day, a brown egg in the run. The girls were totaling their 3 a day brown eggs including the egg in the run. Well, 4 days ago, we had a tiny, what looked like a pullet egg, then again yesterday.
I feed Layena, they recieve fruits, veggies, corn, bread, some meat scraps and they do get some green grass, worms etc when free, also oyster shells are available in coop. They have been given Ivermectin for worms, parasites and lice.
We have not the clue who the culprit is.
Any ideas on how I may be able to trouble shoot this egg issue? Who ever it is, the 3 green and other 2 brown eggs layers are eating the same thing siblings hatched in the same batch.
Who ever it is will live a long life, but I'm confused if its something I should give them or remove from their diet.
Thank you in advance if anyone has a clue because I certainly don't!
