Dumb question but I need answers lol! Ducks started laying eggs!

I so wondered the same thing! I figure it probably would not have been viable, but I meant to ask you guys that!
 
Double yolks can have both yolks fertile. They don't hatch because they get too big for the shell. Either they crush each other or the shell cracks from the pressure and the embyos dry out and die. This happens before they are formed enough to hatch. Tom
 
Thats what I was afraid of. I know someone here on BYC has hatched twin chickens, just was not sure if it worked for Ducks.
