Dumb question but what is an EE?

They are sort of a mutt version of araucana/americauna. They come in all colors and patterns. My EE hen lays about 5-6 eggs a week- pretty good.
Here she is. She doesn't look like most EEs I've seen. Most have muffs, some have beards, and they can have pretty much any type of comb since they are a mix.

Easter Egger. I love my EE's!

They are really hardy birds, good in cold weather, non-aggressive and friendly to people. Most of them are really pretty too! They come in all colors and they usually have muffs.

I have two really handsome EE roosters that have produced some very nice cross bred offspring with a mixed banty that I have.

All the babies are beautiful and look pretty much like EE's. They are all full-sized birds, not banties like their mom. EE's don't go broody though, so if I want any full-bred babies, I have to put EE eggs under another broody.

My EE's are really good layers, sometimes laying an egg a day! They are the prettiest shade of blue-green too!
