Dumb question of the day...

Is it safe for your chicken to eat a dead bee? It's too late now, we tried
to get it from our 7 week old OEG bantam, but he put up a run for it and swallowed
it whole. I was wondering about the venom?

I don't think it will hurt him--chickens eat bugs and bees all the time.

They love bees and wasps. Just make sure they have some grit so they can digest it.

No questions are dumb here. Not all of us know all of the stuff all of the time. But it's nice to have some place to go where everybody knows a little something and some of them know a lot of things. LOL
