I'm so sorry for your injury. Even more so for what sounds like incompetent ER tx.
No, they were good. The ankle wasn't cooperating.

that doesn't sound like fun. hope they got it right this time.
Go get a massage, will help with the blood flow around the area. As long as your doctor will clear you for it.Thanks. All was well after surgery. Just a matter of time after that. They say I'm healing quickly, but the injury was a bad one and I'm getting antsy.

how are you doing??Excellent suggestion. I'll ask him on Thursday. Once it's back to normal, I'm thinking of going to a Korean Spa for a total body exfoliation. Should finally get rid of all the dead skin from the cast.
how are you doing??
Good to hear. As for a massage recommendation, the closest MT I've know about is down in Valdosta. A math professor at VSU I know has somebody there she loves.I'm coming along, thank you.. The doctor is very happy with my progress, saying I've healed quickly. Considering I'll be 70 next winter, that's pretty good. I still have swelling, which he says to expect for about 7-9 more months. But, that's improving, too. My toes no longer swell up like little Vienna sausages and the swelling stops in the middle of my instep. I can see veins, again! My foot and I tire by late afternoon, even though I'm using my scooter around the school (the distances too great for me right now), so I go home and put it up after work.
But, I'm finally getting down to the chicken coop on my own. Use my sturdy walking stick, and am having concrete and stone steps built from the porch to the coop ($$$), so should be ok to continue caring for the girls into old age ... however, I'm not there, YET! Heck, I'm still working.
Thanks for asking. You've reminded me that I need that massage!
