There are 2 different teachers with young sons where I work that I sometimes give eggs. I tell the kids that the bantam eggs are "little boy eggs". They love it! Of course, they are fascinated by the blue and green EE eggs, too. I hope I'm helping these kids develop an open mind about food, even though one family eats nothing but processed/heat up junk. :sick

Why did you consider the article junk? Apparently the blue egg is the result of natural genetic modification. It happens.

The article was poorly written and leaves the impression that blue egg layers are infected with a virus.

It was okay if you read it carefully. I wasn't clear, sorry.
The article was poorly written though. Many of these other comments I agree with. People see virus and blue egg and often don't go past that.
