For peeling boiled eggs.... I let my eggs sit on the counter for 2-3 days before boiling. They peel easily, and sitting on the open counter won't hurt for a few days. I have read that refrigerating eggs has only been since the 30-40's... or so. Old timers used to always leave them on the open counter. I'm thinking they ate them within a few days anyway.

There is a thread on how long different types of eggs will keep under different methods. Fresh eggs can last three weeks or longer at room temperature on the counter. In the fridge, almost 4 or 5 months!
These are unwashed, with the bloom still in tact. Washed eggs last considerably less time.

We never put out eggs in the fridge, they last a good month in the press. We just put the date on them with a pencil so we know when it was layed.

We don't wash or refrigerate ours either. We keep them in a flat basket on the counter and make sure we eat the ones that are at the front first. New ones go in the back

I actually steam my eggs. The shell comes off like butter! Steam them for about 15 minutes and put them under cold water and peel! Easy peasy!

We make "noodles" from anything that comes in handy and call them noodles. Whether it's semolina flour or AP flour. Either way. Homemade is much better than store bought.

Oh, yeah!

We do buy pasta at the store, but for special occasions, it's homemade. Can't be beat!

If you don't wash your eggs you don't have to refrigerate. Keep them in a dark cool place they will last six months or more. If unsure put them in water and if they float they are bad.
