Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

I had some baby chicks for sale(Black Australorp and Buff Brahma bantam) and a woman came up to me and asked what these were.

Me:These are Black Australorps and buff Brahma Bantams.
Her:No, these arnt chickens, all chicks are yellow.
Me: Uh, your wrong. These are chickens.
Her: Leave it to some stupid teenager to sell animals.
Me: Why dont you leave you stupid old hag. And by the way, I AM NOT SOME STUPID TEEN!!!!!!!

I dont know about you, but im so P***** off at her. I needed to tell you guys about this.

Ya know, I may have i said something like "No, not all chickens are yellow, yes these are chickens" but What SHE said is just plain rude, and she would never be talking to be again. Don't worry , I would've been P***** off too!

I have to say I am new to all the chicken stuff and laying eggs. Mine started laying and I don't know if I can eat the eggs. I did not get the chicken to lay eggs I know that sounds funny but someone gave the chickens to me cause in their city they could only have 6 chickens and they went to TS and got 12. So they hand them off to me. (yes it was a family member). I still have eggs from the store so I have not had to use them. Call me crazy

Please eat the eggs, there really is nothing like fresh eggs... mine aren't laying yet, but I had chickens in the past, and the yokes were rich dark golden yellow. I have missed having chickens, but not missing eggs, I always buy from my neighbors, or they give them to me... store bought eggs cannot compare
I can't wait for my girls to start, but, wait I must, they are 14 weeks old tomorrow

I have 3 yellow chickens. 2 orpingtons and 1 buff cochin. (all laying) I dare her to tell my rooster that hes yellow (ill get a pic later XD)

I love that term "Fart Egg"...

Although if it did have a yoke it would make a great garnish. I think a serving of pasta carbonara with one or two of these(fried) and some fresh basil on top would be adorable.

Now that's a great idea! My girls are just about ready to start, and if/when I get a tiny pullet egg I'm going to do that!
