I was in the middle of a bench mark teacher asked how are your chicks did they all hatch... People make fun of me about it.. They dont know the truth about half of the food they get... If anyone makes fun of u or gives you dirty looks ignore them.. They start drama as a hobby i hatch chicks.... They think im wierd for having chickens, i think theyre wierd for having $100 shoes...dont let popular girls change who you are...

Girls can be worse sometimes, boys tend to stick to shoving each other, but a teenage girl could probably teach some people at Guantanamo Bay a thing or two about psychological tormenting...

I think all we can do is set a better example for those people. And pray that they have fewer burdens, because if they had fewer burdens, they wouldn't need to instigate negativity for attention and fulfillment.

@7 Biddies I like the way you approach BYC like it's a scientific experiment. Sort of reminds me of the TV show Bones, where she had been watching Jersey Shore and studied it vigorously with the eyes of an anthropologist.

Why, thank you. But, would you believe you're the second person in as many weeks to make that observation? It's weird. However, I must confess, it describes me very well. I'm a school psychologist who depends on observation along with neuropsychological testing to tell me why a kid is having difficulty learning in school. I can usually figure out most of the problem in the first 5 minutes just by watching a kid perform the tasks I give him. This helps me greatly when it comes to making suggestions to the teachers about how to help them. If the child is able, I frequently discuss it with them, and they can usually tell me what works best for them. Kids are more insightful than people realize, and certainly more insightful than most adults.

Additionally, I almost had a second major in college in cultural anthropology. I'm fascinated by watching others and learning from them ... we learn a lot about ourselves that way. There is no ONE right way to think or believe ... all cultural mores have merit.

QFT means "quoted for truth" (meaning they agree) or, on some forums, "Quit ****** talking", meaning they disagree.
