Ruminants is probably the intended word. It's no less offensive to suggest that a vegetarian lifestyle is more advanced, however.

And that's not going far at all...
I would go as far as saying that real food would make most people sick in this day and time.
...like it was said, she doesn't know how to cook.I work with a young lady that does not know how to cook using a recipe.......
So someone says........ Then you don't know how to cook.
She says...... Yes I do. Just take what ever it is out of the box and put it in the microwave. Push the right buttons and dinner is served!
She has THREE children. *sigh*
Sooo... Raise it and butcher it yourself, just don't think about it.I had a conversation with a guy at work this morning that's impossible to duplicate, but his logic is that he is morally pure by eating chicken that comes from the store because it's already in a package that doesn't look like an animal, which means he doesn't have to think about where it came from. I, on the other hand, am a mean person because I take one of my happy, free-range chickens and purposely kill that chicken.
I told him that the chickens he eats live short but tortured lives in factory farms, but he feels that he has no guilt as long as he doesn't have to think about it. That pretty well sums up much of the stupidity in our world today.
Right. I'll drink a lot of beer while I'm doing it. (I just need to remember my knife-resistant gloves so I don't cut off my hand.)Sooo... Raise it and butcher it yourself, just don't think about it.
