It appears I've done it again, by using the exact quote I heard in London. To be more politically/gender sensitive, I'll rephrase it to read, "Not exactly the brains of Britain, now are they?"

@hennible with 25 you might cover cost of keep by selling eggs. So far, at least, our eggs are among the most expensive thing I've ever eaten. We're down to about 4 euros per egg right now, so about 100 euros per kilo.

Maybe they thought that chickens were like women and just laid monthly.... At least you'd get a couple dozen eggs a month!
