My uncle's wife likes to eat eggs but each time my grandmother gives her blue or green eggs she refuses to eat them because they are rotten. How many times we have to explain to her those eggs are ok and it's just the color of the shell?

That co-worker sounds like some people I knowAnother one!!!!
I have co worker that always is asking me how many dogs/cats I have. She does that in front of people and she does it to make fun of me. She saw in facebook that I have chickens and asked about them again in a way I dont apreciate. I told her I did not wanted to discuss my chickens in front of the collegues because I dont want people to judge because of my lifestyle. Guess what!!! In this last meeting she waited to have a full table of people to ask me....."Remember you told me not to talk about your chickens in public? Why? Are you ashamed? You know she has chickens , Right? "
Now everyone was looking at me....and I felt my face was turning white. I just took a deep breath and told everyone about my chickens and their beautiful color eggs. I took my phone out and started passing it so everyone could see pictures of the eggs and my babies (chickens). Talked about all the troubles I encountered in bringing them here and the joys of eating healthy and not contributing to animal torture in the eggs factories. And that's how I got out of the last closet.
That happens to me for trying to keep some things in the closet for some people. The chick is out of the bag....yeayyyyy
By the way....I have 6 dogs, 2 cats and around 24 chickens. Love them all.
My co-workers are jealous that I have chickens. Guess many live in apartments or HOA's. Taking my boss a dozen eggs in the morning.Another one!!!!

That co-worker sounds like some people I know. I don't know what gives people the right to tell everyone what should and should not be and to be so judgemental. I want to ask "who made you queen of the earth?" I used to have goats that we would walk down the street on leashes just like a dog. They were really good about it. We did it because they stayed in their pen all day and we wanted to give them exercise. So our neighbor drives by and sees us walking them and says we should have our own reality show just for owning goats and walking them
I dunno but that sounds like it would be a really boring show lol![]()
he/she is so pretty and cute.
Me too. I'm happy I found this thread it's given me heaps of laughs!I am so glad I came across this thread! I can't believe the dumb comments I get from people and it feels so much better knowing I'm not the only one! I can't tell you how many people I know won't eat my eggs because they are 'fresh' and won't eat my meat birds or stock although they eat store bought chicken all the time. It's a scary world we live in!
