Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

i have one co-worker who will ONLY get white eggs from me because "my kids won't eat brown eggs" ! People are strange!

What's strange is that your co-worker allows her kids to "dictate" what color eggs they eat; or, anything else for that matter. They shouldn't even know what color the shells are, unless they're doing the cooking and, if they should happen to see them, they need to keep their mouths shut and their minds open. It seems fairly common for people to allow their kids to dictate everything, these days, like kids know what's good for them. You may as well give them your car and let them drive themselves to school from the day they start kindergarten.

Omg... I knew it bad and have seen they way they are stuck in a small cage which is so cruel n unnatural for them. Seeing the close up made me sick sick sick to my stomach!!! This is biggest reason I wanted chickens of my own! I had to wait til hubby retired from the army because we lived in 7 diff states and couldn't have them. There's no reason those girls should be treated that way as they will happily lay better n longer if they r treated well. I'll take a fresh egg from a backyard hen any day. I do not want those sob's to get any of my hard earned money! I'm very affected by that video but people who only eat sterilized eggs from a factory should see it n see what thier money goes to support. :-(

IKR? And we wonder why they have salmonella? These poor sweet little creatures have to endure a lifetime of this just so ignorant people can slap an egg on their plate for breakfast. It makes me sick.

And BTW I watched that video and now need to go Burn my eyeballs out!!! I believe I will be become a partial vegan and only eat the eggs my girls give me of their own free will!!

And the thing is, it wouldn't cost that much more to have them in good conditions, and they'd get more eggs. I hate stupid factory farms and stupid business people!!!! GAH!!!

I know! It breaks your heart to see those sweet girls treated like trash. l would do anything to help them. And at the end, they are simply killed for Ramen noodles. Imagine enduring a lifetime of that, and instead being peacefully retired or re-homed, you end up like that. I would love to start a battery hen rescue (there aren't any in the U.S), and help these poor hens. I don't know how their owners can sleep at night knowing they treat those birds that way.

You can buy them directly from the farms here in New Zealand I don't like paying the farm($3.50 Per Hen) but I do love having the girls they are goofy little sweet hearts with a load of personality. Maybe you could go to a smaller farm and ask if the have any they would sell. the ones i got were around one year old when i got them (thats when they go to slaughter)

I know! It's horrible!

I couldn't make it through the video. If more people knew about this, maybe those "farms" would be illegal.
