Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

They may have heard the story but not realized the little red hen was a chicken. I currently know a woman, studying avian biology no less, who thinks ducks and geese are not birds. There is currently an animated cartoon on television the main character of which is a bull with a fully developed udder. So anything is possible. Personally, I would really like to meet the genius who drew the udder on that bull. There are several things to be seen on the underside of a bull, but an udder full of milk certainly is not one of them.

I dunno about that. The book is filled with pictures and it sure looked like a chicken to me, even in a chef's hat and apron. But, then, I was a very precocious child.

Sounds like this person is an idiot. Even less than intelligent people can go to school if they have the money or connections. I have friends from all walks of like, none of them are that dumb. Personally I think people don't bother to teach their children anything. They are lazy and expect they will learn everything at school.

I was having a conversation with a friend the other day who was asking me how many chickens I have now (18 - 2 roos and 16 hens) and how many eggs I was getting now (between 6-8 a day). He told me he thought I'd be getting way more than that. He swore up and down that his grandparents had only three hens yet they got upwards of 9+ eggs a day. I tried to tell him that wasn't possible but he kept insisting. I finally gave up, just smiled and nodded my head.

I didn't mind the joke (all it insulted was long delays and strange legalities causing trouble) but the arguing and demands of 'my political opinion mentioned and nothing else or it's not funny nearly drove me to abandon this thread.

I guess I failed to see the arguing and demands

just a small request for common courtesy, which was answered. This is not a political thread and that should be left out, regardless of what the opinion is. Not only does that keep us from getting shut down, but it is the right thing to do. No one can agree 100% of the time, but if you are in a setting that is about one thing and you bring up something else, then someone ask you not to, for any of my friends, I would respect the request and drop it.

Edited: Yes, I can and do often laugh at myself and jokes that are "offensive" to me, however, as my mommy used to say, in this case, "this is not the time or place".
