Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

do they not notice those in store about unfertilized eggs or something?

Personally I find it interesting that as a society we have become so picky about things. We nit pick our food to death... if has to look perfect or we are reluctant to touch it. If there's a blemish on an apple cut it out.. and inmost cases if you are cooking it .. you won't know about it at all. SO an egg has a red spot.. or 'bugar' as I've heard it referred to.. cook it in anyhow, you won; be able to tell when you eat it. I eat the lettuce leaves that the big have put a few holes in , it's still green healthy.. just has hole. tastes the same, is washed and bug free.. no need to waste.. and the ones beyond saving make great chicken food

The only thing I care about is.. if the food is spoiled other than that relax no big deal IMO

Awww. Just buy brown ones at the grocery store and don't tell them; it's not like they'll really know. Your girls will be laying again soon enough.

Hmmmm wonder if it would be bad to dye them brown.

Don't think I didn't consider both of those options. "Gee, these eggs have a coffee flavor to them. I ate 7 and didn't sleep for three days!"

Way back when I was in high school I worked at a grocery store...a lady asked me if we had any Darigold half and half in back as were out on the shelf....
I told her no but we had Western Family half and half and it was a little cheaper....
she told me her cats wouldn't drink Western Family half and half it had to be Darigold.
Even back then I knew the half and half was the same product, came from the same dairy, they just fed a differently labeled carton into the machine. ....she didn't buy it though....
