Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

There is a thing called a turducken ....... A turkey stuffed with duck that has been stuffed with a Cornish hen. I think this is the site I read about

Oh yess, I seen an add for a Turducken waiting list a couple weeks back. Everything was boned out and the duck and hen were skinless. You could get just the 3 birds in you turducken or the fancier options of Cornish hen wrapped around your choice of cornbread stuffing or ham and you could opt for a layer of the stuffing between each layer of the birds.

I'm hungry now.

Oh, yes, I've seen them and drooled over them in catalogues from L L Bean, Cabelas and some Christmas books. They look wonderful. Only problem is the price. Usually from $69.00 up to the neighborhood of $100.00. Maybe I need to put it on my bucket list............?

A true Turdurken is a very tasty feast as well as looks just like a normal turkey, only much heavier. Sounds like he did not know what he was doing. It takes a skilled butcher or chief to create one. There are NO bones, and when cut with a carving knife, will cult in slices firm enough to create a solid slice of eat bird showing the textured meat of each bird. Down her the only place you can find one is in a specialty meat market or specialty butcher shop. There are a few Specialty Meat Markets Louisiana that do ship frozen Seasoned Turdurken's for the holidays...

A friend asked me if I eat the eggs. I said yes. She crinkled her nose and said she didnt.thinm she could. Asked me if the different colored ones tasted different. (Yep the have a chocolate flavor). She said the thought of fresh eggs creeped her out and that she would have to spray paint them white. I left conversation way confused. Lol. It made a good story
