Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

In my local store in northern Michigan the brown eggs sell for way more than white eggs. Amazing! Just a few years back you didn't ever seeing brown eggs in our stores. The only way you could get brown eggs was to buy them from a local farmer.
I was looking at the brown eggs for sale in our local IGA. They are $1.00 more per dozen than the white ones. If you read the cartons, though, you find out that they come from the same egg factory over in Croton - Hillandale Farms. Amazes me that people will pay more for what is essentially the same thing.

I was talking about sending eggs home with my grown son (who lives with his father) once the girls start to earn their keep. Not wanting to waste good, home grown, organic eggs on someone who doesn't appreciate the concept (casting pearls before swine), I expressed concern that his dad would eat them all before my son could get to them. My son responded, "Don't worry. He thinks there's something wrong with anything but white eggs". I replied, "In that case, I'll save all the blue/green ones for you".
