Dumor feed TSC

Yes, feed is a...mixed bag...at times.

I’ve used Demor off and on over the years with no issues (we had an awesome local feed store nearby that carried other brands but sadly it closed).

My TSC was out of Demor chick crumble a few months ago so I bought a bag of Purina for $3-4 more and it was terrible. Basically a bag of dust.

So....you don’t always get what you pay for, and sometimes you’ll see inconsistencies (feed is, after all, an agricultural product).

My SO said the same thing. He thinks it was just the end of a batch or something. You would think though that they would have some quality control on their products. We had bought 2 bags that day. One was normal and the other one was the dusty corn garbage I had mentioned. We've bought dumor for 3 years now with no problems until now. My birds seem to like the Naturewise better so we might just be switching. I guess its the difference of buying cereal in a bag versus a box:idunno

I have a lot of juveniles and a rooster so not every one needs later feed. I offer oyster shell on the side.
We do too but my golden comets wont eat it. I think I bought a 50 gallon bag of it 3 years ago and ive only gone through about 20 gallons. Most of that is me pouring it out because it got wet or they pooped in it. My barred rocks are still young so we havent offered it to them.
