They are being awful loud today

Still waiting on a call back from the spca but I'll call them again if it doesn't come soon.

They appear nervous, too. Probably they are upset they are not in a pond any longer, but "trapped" on land. They've seen Paree! Bad things do happen to domestic ducks dumped in parks, but it gives most of them a type of freedom they have never known. Not trying to second guess you here, particularly after your hard rescue work, but do you have any idea where your SPCA is going to send them? Is it a no-kill shelter?

The spca is a no kill shelter and they keep them until they are adopted out

I’m thinking they are complaining because they want out. Wouldn’t you? It’s so great you were able to get them and now they have such a good chance for a safe home.

Got them in and all is good, they're now in an about 10x10 coop and run area until they get adopted out, they were very loud happy quaking when they got out of the bins I brought them in.

I did! But yeah.... Probably not so common.

I actually just adopted one, and it was hard to find one! Might just be this time of year, though.

There were actually 2 other mixed breed drakes there as well, I usually keep an eye on their website and ducks come and go pretty often.
